Introduction

We wish to  introduce you to SMA-NGO.com, a not-for-profit website celebrating San Miguel’s NGOs and their leaders, contributors, staff, and volunteers.

We have identified over 120 NGOs active in the San Miguel community, and arranged them by type, clientele and membership in San Miguel Community Foundation, with a link to the NGOs website, if available. http://sma-ngo.com/category-sma-ngos.html

Our Objectives:

1.     Increase the awareness of the critical importance of NGOs in our community.

2.     Assist NGOs to raise funds by publicizing their successes and needs.

3.     Provide resources to assist NGOs in their startup, operations, and fundraising,

We are celebrating the NGO leaders www.sma-ngo.com/category-ngo-ceos--chairs.html and the NGO boards of directors, staff members and volunteers, with an estimate of more than 220 participants in the community www.sma-ngo.com/category-ngo-execs--directors.html.

We plan to report on the impact of the NGOs on the SMA community in terms of clients served, capital raised, and resources distributed. We will populate the resource section of the website with additional citations, initiate interviews with key NGO leaders, hold roundtables and meetings of NGO executives and contributors, and advertise the successes and needs of the NGO community in publications and websites.

Please Help! Our website is very much “in process”,  so we look forward  to your suggestions, comments, and corrections, to be sent to editors@SMA-NGO.com

We need help to accomplish our aims. If you have an interest in assisting NGOs to meet their goals, please contact us at editors@SMA-NGO.com
